Next Generation Youth Service Project – 6/28

The Next Generation Youth Ministry will be volunteering at the David Jones Jr., Assisted Living Center on June 28, 2025. All youth planning to participate need to meet at the Jackson Street Church of Christ Parking Lot at 11:00 AM. The Service Project will last from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM and lunch will be provided.

Academic Achievers Celebration – 6/8

Next Generation Youth Ministry is presenting an Academic Achievers Celebration on June 8, 2025, immediately after morning worship. Join us in recognizing high school and college graduates, as well as K-12 achievers. For questions, contact Sis. Renee Tomlinson, Sis. Andrea Jones, or Sis. Michelle Hood.

New Members Orientation & Bible Class – 5/25

On May 25, 2025, at 4:00 PM, there will be a new members orientation and bible class for all members who have been baptized or who have placed membership in 2025. The orientation will take place on Zoom. The Zoom ID is 286 377 4517 and the Passcode is 1408

Building Update – 5/18

Updates on the progress of the church building renovation will be shared immediately after Morning Worship on Sunday, May 18, 2025. Also, keep in mind that we will begin worshipping in the Pearl Cohn HS Gym beginning June 1, as the school will start renovations on the auditorium.

Mother’s Day Brunch – 5/10

The men of Jackson Street Church of Christ will be providing a Mother’s Day brunch for all of the mothers of the congregation from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM on Saturday, May 10, 2025. The Brunch will be held at the 40th Avenue Church of Christ, located at 616 40th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37209.

Next Generation Youth Rewards Day – 5/5

Next Generation Youth will have the opportunity to cash in their points earned from involvement in spiritual activities for rewards and prizes immediately after morning service on Sunday, May 5, 2025.

Last Kingdom Builders Midday Class – 4/22

Kindom Builders’ Last Midday Class will be at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. It will be held at the Tennessee State Library and Archives, 1001 Rep John Lewis Way, Nashville, TN 37219.

Easter Egg Baskets & Bags Giveaway – 4/20

An Easter Egg Baskets and Bags Giveaway will take place immediately after worship service on Sunday, April 20, 2025. Baskets and Bags are for Next Generation Youth while supplies last!

L.A.C.E Tea Time Luncheon – 4/6

The Schrader Lane and Jackson Street congregations will be hosting a tea time luncheon for L.A.C.E. on April 6, 2025 at 12:30 PM. The event will take place in the fellowship hall at Schrader Lane and the theme is, “Enjoying a soul warming cup of tea and fellowship with sisters and brothers.” A minimal sponsorship of $50 per person is required. A platinum sponsorship is $300 and supports a table dedicated for 6 people. The deadline to register is March 30th.

Hygiene Drive Kit Packing Day – 3/29

Items still needed for our Hygiene Drive include: deodorant, bar soap, shampoo, body wash, toothbrushes, tampons, toothpaste, and pads. We will be packing up the kits at 15th Ave Church of Christ on March 29, 2025 at 10:00 AM.
