Chili Cook-Off @ Fisk – 10/29
The congregation is supporting a Chili Cook-off at Fisk University on October 29, 2002 from 11 AM - 2 PM. There are also sign up sheets in the foyer for members to sign up for items needed. Walk 4 Water Smyrna – 10/16
We are supporting an effort at the Smyrna Church of Christ who is holding a Walk 4 Water to raise funds to help build wells in Africa. The event will take place at 3:00 PM. Picnic in the Park – 8/6
Our next community event will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Watkins Park. The address is 616 17th Ave N Nashville, TN 37203. There will be free food, drinks, games, and music. There will also be information about Jackson Street COC, WeGo Bus Transportation, Metro Social Services, Tennessee Justice Center, Metro Police, Mental Health Services, and much more!
Active Shooter Educational Training – 7/10
On Sunday, July 10th after morning worship, Jackson Street's head of security, Mr. Orlando, will be conducting an active shooter response educational training, The training is geared to help equip members on how to survive a shooting event.
Nursery/Children Church Reopens – 7/10
The Nursery/Children’s Church will start back on Sunday, July 10, 2022 in the fellowship hall for ages 1-7. All nursery and children's church staff have been fully vaccinated.
