Worship With Us

We are a non-denominational church that models our practices in worship according to the New Testament.  We believe according to 2 Timothy 3:16 that,  “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Nonetheless, our adopted practices in the church are governed by the New Testament as scriptures make clear that the old law as it stood could not save us.  Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.” Galatians 3:24

See Also:  Romans 7:4-6

Therefore, we embrace the sovereignty of Christ and his justification for us as members of the church of the Christ.  We do this by adhering to the commands of the New Testament and continuing “steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.Acts 2:42

The following practices are things you can expect to experience in our worship services and are all derived from implicit instruction in the New Testament:

Hebrews 10:24-25
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

Ephesians 5:19-20
“Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;”

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
“Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

2 Corinthians 9:6-7
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”

Mark 16:15-16
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”

1 Corinthians 11:24-25
“And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.  After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.”
