(LACE) Ladies Association for Christian Education

LACE has helped change the lives of female students at the Nigerian Christian Institute (NCI) for more than 10 years.

The Nashville Chapter has been involved since 1991.  This year a one-on-one approach has been adopted in the hopes of reaching more of the individual needs of the student as well as the needs of the school.

The Church of Christ at Jackson Street started it’s Chapter in 1999.  With the permission and approval of the Leadership we set out to make a difference in the lives of our Christian sisters in Nigeria.

This year we have moved away from the “Membership” concept and invite you to take part in the one-on-one concept of sponsoring a student or students at NCI.

Dear Sisters:

We, the Executive Board of LACE (Ladies Association for Christian Education) invite you to be a part of this wonderful ministry at the Jackson Street congregation.

Our Chapter is committed to assisting Brother Okon Mkpong in the training of young Nigerian Women at the Nigerian Christian Institute in Uyo, West Africa.

Your membership will signify your desire to enhance the continued in education of our fellow Sisters in Christ.  We are excited that God has brought us together for this great work.

HOW YOU CAN HELP?

For as little as 27 cents a day, $8.33 a month, or $100 a year you can help give a student a future full of hope. 

Through your sponsorship, you will help provide a young female with improved educational opportunities, varied training opportunities and continued learning about Jesus Christ.  There is also opportunities for individuals to co-sponsor a young female at NCI.  Just get together with a couple of your friends and submit your contribution together.

LACE offers us the opportunity to participate with hundreds of other sisters (and brothers) across the United States in supporting our Nigerian Sisters.

Most of all you will experience the JOY of enhancing the life of a young girl at NCI.
